Girl Talk - Oh No (VIDEO MASHUP)
If there was a mashup inspiration award that would easily go to Girl Talk. After the real time sample reference (here also) and sample visualization now comes the video mashups of the album. bdlfilms are going to release a track by track version of the album till 31 of December. Here is part 1 “Oh No”

Elvis Costello and the Attractions - ‘Chelsea’
Menomena - “TAOS”
This is by far my favorite song on Menomena’s Mines album.
The lyrics are rather appropriate for what’s going down in my world. This song has become the anthem to my next chapter in life.
I’m not the most cocksure guy
but I get more bold with every smileHere’s a video of them just wailing out the song live on KEXP:
This is a TAT and Open Innovation experiment. It is an experience video showing the future of screen technology with stretchable screens, transparent screens and e-ink displays.
TAT is a Swedish software technology and design company this is, I suppose, the main reason that Sweden wins the Worldcup in this concept video.
Seems that in the near future would be possible having in your pocket a stretchable screen and play with your Emulator for Traktor Pro, on your giant transparent Töken multitouch screen.
At least we can dream about that.
Oval - Ah!
Stunning modern dance video for a wicked post-rock number from electronic pioneer and Berliner Markus Popp. Check out the 70-track(!) album O, out on Thrill Jockey next week. Video by Amberley Productions.

WOW. Go and type in your childhood address at thewildernessdowntown.net to play the new, interactive video for the song “We Used To Wait” by Arcade Fire. You’ll get the best experience with the Google Chrome browser. And guess what, Germany: “There is not enough streetview data” for my full experience. So you better pretend to be born somewhere else to get the whole fun. The video was directed by Chris Milk and built in HTML5. Good idea. Thank god for the internetz.Read more about the project in this Wired article.
I cannot recall right now but seems that this is the first Internet video clip from a major artist that goes beyond artistic and technological experimentation. Ok maybe I should check again David Byrne or Peter Gabriel.
